Interested in co-creating a community food hub on campus?

About Us

The UBC Community Food Hub is a project supported through the Campus as a Living Lab Initiative and is critical to support the vision of a food secure campus that promotes overall well-being. This research project (Ethics ID #H21-00641) intends to engage the UBC campus community to identify resources, support services, programming, and facilities to support a food secure campus community at UBC.

The Community Food Hub will allow people inclusive and dignified access to healthy food in a way that is place-based, social, and empowering. The Community Food Hub will value the right to food, building community through food, and supporting the local food system.

What does the UBC Community Food Hub aim to achieve?

The UBC Community Food Hub aims to create opportunities for students to gather and advocate for change, access holistic support services, and lead initiatives to improve campus-based food security.
